Located in the iconic building which formerly housed the World’s End pub, originally a tavern during the times of Charles II from which the area gained its name, the bar concept offers cosy old-world charm open to the public and available for private hire. Reclaimed wooden crates have been re-worked to create the woodwork lining the walls and bar and Iconic images of movie stars and musicians from world famous portrait photographer, Lorenzo Agius, hang from the walls giving the bar a distinctive personality including Ewan McGregor’s memorable portrait for the movie Trainspotting. Customers can also enjoy cocktails, bar snacks and shisha on the outdoor seated terrace or stop by for weekly game nights by the fire and intimate private movie screenings. The seriously knowledgeable bar staff can whip up anything to your liking, but the real highlight of this old fashioned bar concept is the newly launched cocktail menu that puts a World’s End spin on classic cocktails. With an extensive selection of premium whiskeys and barrel aged cocktails, the menu offers reinvented cocktails incorporating interesting flavour combinations and handcrafted alcohol infusions extracting flavours from different herbs, spices and fruits all made in-house. The bar is open from Wed. to Sat. from 6pm to 1am and Sundays from 12pm to 11pm, and available for private hire accommodating 40 people seated and cocktail receptions for up to 60 people standing. |
